FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: method involves the reduction and fixation of the fibular fraction and fixation of the heel bone, as well as the anatomical restoration of the ankle joint by means of Schanz pins. The pin inserted into the distal fragment of the fibular bone from outside to inside and somewhat aback, inclined by 18-25° from the frontal axis is fastened in an arm support mounted on a ring bearing. The pin inserted into the heel bone is fastened on the arm support, also inclined by 18-25° from the frontal axis. An external fixation apparatus is assembled by connecting the proximal ring and distal semi-ring supports.
EFFECT: method enables reducing a risk of arthrosis deformans and contractures.
