FIELD: games.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the entertainment industry. The Ferris wheel comprises the rotating construction with a rim 1 and radial elements 2, passenger modules 3 located in groups, the distance between which along the circumference is greater than the distance along the circumference between the passenger modules in groups, the drive and the station 4. The radial elements 2 are made V-shaped in a plane perpendicular to the plane of rotation of the rotating construction, and the zone 5 of connection of their branches 6 between each other is conjugated with the rim 1 and the elements 7 bearing passenger modules 3, and has pressure rollers 8 located with the ability of interaction with the rests 9 arcuate in a vertical plane, mounted on the supporting structure of the station 4 for accommodation side loads (wind loads). The feature of the station is the fact that its platform 15 is made profiled to provide the allowable slope of the passenger module in the interaction with its lower part in the area of boarding and unloading the passengers.
EFFECT: design of the support part of the Ferris wheel and its axis enables respectively to reduce significantly the cost on building the foundation and to reduce the metal consumption of the rotating structure.
