SUBSTANCE: proposed device consists of housing, rotor with ice breaking working members It is to be used with vehicles as towed equipment. Ice-crust cleaners are ganged to sections subject to road surface coverage and vehicle power output. Aforesaid working tools are fixed at rotor and driven by rockers retuned to initial position by springs. Transfer of power from vehicle (power takeoff shaft, hydraulic system) drives the rotor with staggered working members for it to displace broken ice sideways.
EFFECT: higher efficiency and quality.
