FIELD: power engineering.

SUBSTANCE: in the method to monitor accuracy of manufacturing and assembly of a steam turbine control valve regardless of extent of turbine availability for assembly of a valve on it, monitoring of manufacturing and assembly accuracy of vibration damping elements is carried out, and the elements are made in the form of profiles windows for inlet of steam inside the valve, which is located outside the valve, by doing measurements of mutual location of vibration damping elements and, if required, adjustment (fitting) of the valve vibration damping system. The device to monitor accuracy of manufacturing and assembly of a steam turbine control valve comprises a support with a lifting mechanism arranged on it, for instance, a jack, on the stem of which there is a container to install a false seat in it, at the same time in the support there are stands, the quantity of which is selected as sufficient for provision of stiffness of the structure, the upper ends of which are stiffly embedded into a board having a support surface for installation of the valve cover for the period of monitoring, which imitates the plane of detachment of the actual steam box of the valve, to the board there is a scale fixed with divisions applied on it so that the scale "zero" matches with the plane of steam box detachment, besides, the end of the false seat is embedded relative to the plane of the steam box detachment by the value controlled with the help of a scale and a pointer, attached to the container, and the false seat is installed in the container so that its basic plane matches the metering edge of the pointer arrow, besides, axes of holes in the container and the board match with each other and the stem axis.

EFFECT: increased efficiency and reliability of operation of a control valve and a turbine as a whole.
