FIELD: power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: geothermal power plant comprises units of modular type made as capable of installation into one or more containers in the form of a geothermal container unit. For the specified unit the dimensions are chosen, which make it possible to produce geothermal energy from one well bore, besides, one unit is equipped with a facility designed for electric connection to other geothermal container units, and also to the grid. The power plant comprises a unit of steam/brine treatment, functionally coupled with a turbogenerator unit, functionally coupled with a unit of steam condensation, functionally coupled with a unit of a cooling tower. The power plant comprises several geothermal container units, every of which is installed above the well shaft, from which geothermal energy is withdrawn, or at a certain distance from it. The power plant is connected into a peer-to-peer network comprising a geothermal power plant operator, a power grid operator, salespeople and a power engineering company.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to generate a geothermal energy system in network configuration providing for load balancing and redundancy.
