FIELD: power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: fuel is previously mixed with air at a certain ratio of components. The fuel and air mixture is sent via a volume matrix. At the outlet from the matrix the flame is maintained in the surface combustion mode with a laminar flow of the fuel and air mixture and at the temperature from 1200° to 1500°K. The device for method realisation comprises a body with an inlet for supply of the fuel and air mixture and an outlet for discharge of combustion products. Inside the body there is a volume matrix made from a refractory material, which is permeable for the fuel and air mixture. The volume matrix is made with blades, which are connected to the outlet for discharge of the combustion products.
EFFECT: reduced temperature of a combustion process, reduced emissions of nitrogen oxides, improved temperature homogeneity of combustion products, simplified design of a combustion chamber with simultaneous reduction of its volume.
