FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of energy, transport and chemical engineering, where it is necessary to organize environment-friendly fuel combustion, and can be used in gas turbine engines (hereinafter GTE) of stationary and transport energy. The method of burning fuel in a low-emission combustion chamber of a gas turbine engine contains the following stages. The first stage, at which the rotor with a compressor and a turbine are rotated from an external starting drive so that air begins to flow into the combustion chamber's heat pipe, which has consecutive first and second combustion zones, and 65-85% of the total amount of supplied air is fed to the first combustion zone, and the rest of the air is fed to the second combustion zone. The second stage, at which the fuel supply is opened to the pilot burner in the first combustion zone of the fire tube and the electric igniters located in it are turned on. The third stage, at which the fuel is redistributed from the pilot burner to the main burner. The fourth stage, at which, when the temperature reaches 1200-1300°C at the outlet of the fire tube, further loading of the gas turbine engine is carried out by additional fuel supply to the second combustion zone of the fire tube through fuel supply means containing a swirling guide device with blades.
EFFECT: technical result is ensuring a low level of nitrogen oxides formation in the combustion chamber of the gas turbine engine at a fuel combustion temperature above 1400°C.
