FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: system for monitoring oxygen and hydrogen in gas media has a channel, an input hydrogen sensor lying in the input part of the inside of the channel, an input catalytically active element mounted in the cross-section of the middle part of the inside of the channel behind the input hydrogen sensor, an output hydrogen sensor and an oxygen sensor, placed in the output part of the inside of the channel after the input catalytically active element, the sensors being connected to a recording and control system. The system is further equipped with an output catalytically active element mounted in the cross-section of the output part of the inside of the channel behind the output hydrogen sensor and the oxygen sensor, the input and output catalytically active elements being equipped with self-contained heaters for keeping the hydrogen recombination coefficient on the catalytically active elements equal to 1.

EFFECT: continuous monitoring of oxygen and hydrogen in a gas medium inside a room with high accuracy and reliability.
