SUBSTANCE: terminal block (1) for telecommunication systems includes two oppositely lying rows of terminals (13), lying along a first side (9) of the block, and two oppositely lying rows of terminals (13), lying along the opposite second side (10) of the block, a mounting means (15) t each end of the block, through which the block can be detachably mounted on a holder (3), such that access to the terminals on the first side of the block is provided in order to connect wires. The terminal block also includes wire guide elements (24, 29) outside the block, which are able to fix wires (30) connected to terminals on the first side of the block on at least one end, while enabling the removal of the block from the holder, rotation thereof around a central axis passing between both ends of the block, and mounting the block on the holder, while providing access to terminals on the second side in order to connect wires.

EFFECT: providing higher density of connections to the block, while simplifying the installation method.
