SUBSTANCE: object of the invention is a rail brake system for a rail vehicle, comprising a lever brake drive, service and/or parking brake configured to act on at least one braking element of said rail vehicle through said lever brake actuator, which is equipped with at least one device (5), having at least one shoe holder (37) and at least one shoe (38) mechanically connected to said at least one shoe holder, and at least one force transmission link (50), mechanically connected by first end (71) to said vehicle support and second end (72), opposite to said first end, to said at least one shoe holder, wherein said at least one shoe holder comprises fastening tab (80) provided with seat (82) and mounting element (81) located in said seat (80), and said at least one force transfer rod is installed with possibility of its second end rotation in said mounting element.

EFFECT: higher strength, simplicity, and ease of use of the braking system for a rail vehicle with brakes with at least one pad.
