SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to agricultural machinery industry and can be used in harvesting equipment. The agricultural harvesting machine comprises the corn header with the frame attached to the receiving chamber. The corn header comprises a common drive shaft, a plurality of in-line devices, a corresponding plurality of skidding clutches, the drive shaft speed sensor and at least one vibration sensor. Each of the skidding clutches connects the separate in-line device with the drive shaft. The processing unit receives and processes the signals from the vibration sensor to indicate skidding of the skidding clutch. The processing unit is made with the ability to use the output signal of rotation speed of the drive shaft. The skidding clutch or a group of clutches comprising the skidding clutch is determined by comparing the vibrations received from the vibration sensors.

EFFECT: group of inventions enables to determine accurately the position of the skidding clutch on the corn header.
