Three linear 2.5-3 cm long skin cuts, diverging at angle 120 degrees with respect to each other, are made. Skin flap with subcutaneous cellular tissue of upper half of presternal area is separated from anterior surface of sternum on arch-like trajectory. Flap is separated starting from the level of lateral angles of skin cut upward to the level of jugular incisure. Child's retractor is installed in brought together state. It is moved maximally upward, skin flap with subcutaneous cellular tissue of upper half of presternal area is displaced to the level of jugular incisure.
EFFECT: method makes it possible to provide angle of inclination of operation action axis in upper part of mediastenum equal 90 degrees in minimally invasive access to heart.
