FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to physiotherapy. Method includes application of general cryotherapy. Systemic two-stage impact on patient's organism is performed with temperature from -55°C to -65°C at the first stage and from -110°C to -115°C at the second stage in cryochamber of closed type. Frequency of impact is 1 time per day, 4 times per week. Impact is performed with increase of the first stage duration from 30 to 40 seconds and step-by-step 20-30 second increase of the second stage duration from 80 to 180 seconds. Course of treatment includes 8-12 procedures. Duration of the first stage for the first four procedures constitutes 30 seconds, starting from the fifth procedure - 40 seconds. Duration of the second stage constitutes for the first two procedures 80 seconds, for the third and fourth procedure - 100 seconds, for the fifth and sixth procedure -130 seconds, for the seventh and eighth procedure - 160 seconds, for the ninth and on- 180 seconds.

EFFECT: method reduces level of disease activity due to reduction of inflammatory process and pain syndrome, reduces constraint of movements, influences main links of regulation of functional systems and immunological status of patient, reduces intake of analgesics.
