SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to field of production of preparations for oral cavity hygiene. Claimed composition of preparation for teeth care contains abrasive based on amorphous quartz, which is characterised by average size of particles from 1 to 20 microns; and acceptable for oral cavity carrier, which includes one or more humidifiers. Composition can contain one or more active substances, such as anti-caries preparations, antibacterial preparations, preparations against dental deposit, etc. Also claimed is method of cleaning and polishing teeth enamel, which includes application of said composition on user's teeth. Application of claimed composition results in effective and safe cleaning and polishing of teeth enamel. As amorphous (fused) quartz is more solid, than silica, which are typically applied in compositions of preparations for teeth care, amorphous quartz can be applied in smaller quantity to provide cleaning effect, comparable with larger quantities of other silica. In addition, amorphous quartz has good compatibility with active substances for oral cavity care, which ensures their stability in composition.
