FIELD: pharmacology.

SUBSTANCE: proposed dentifrice composition comprises: a) at least 5% of polyorganosilsesquioxane particles, by weight of the composition; b) a carrier acceptable to the oral cavity; c) a source of fluorine ion; and the polyorganosilsesquioxane particles are insoluble in the composition and are spherical particles with a smooth surface. There is also a method for teeth cleaning and polishing, including a stage of contacting of the tooth enamel surface and the mucous membranes of the oral cavity with the above dentifrice composition, and a method for plaque, gingivitis, tartar and staining reduction, which includes a stage, of injection of a composition containing abrasive based on polyorganosilsesquioxane particles, a fluorine ion source and a carrier acceptable to the oral cavity into the oral cavity of the subject.

EFFECT: application of the group of inventions provides efficient and safe teeth cleaning and polishing, additionally, good compatibility with active substances for oral care, in particular, with a source of fluorine ions.
