FIELD: process engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metal forming and may be used for production of multifaceted parts. Proposed female die comprises body wherein inserted are comical insert with multifaceted bore and conical insert for forming nut end chamfer. Cylindrical insert with lengthwise groove on outer surface for removal of oil and dirt is inserted in the latter. Conical insert end face is shaped to truncated cone on the chamfer forming side. Smaller base diameter makes e+5 mm where e is circumdiameter of conical insert multifaceted bore. Angle between truncated cone generatrix and conical insert end makes 1°30'. Insert end with chamfer forming side is provided with grooves arranged along cone generatrix and over lateral surface to remove oil and dirt from chamfer forming side.

EFFECT: higher female die durability and quality of products.
