FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to extrusion of polyethylene container. Proposed method comprises the steps whereat half-blank is extruded from polyethylene material with yield point of 0.01-10.0 g/10 min. Note here that pre-extruded blank comprises neck, sidewalls and base. Note here that sidewalls between said neck and base feature straight and parallel outer walls. Note here that pre-extruded blank is reheated to make difference in maximum temperature between the hottest and coldest lateral walls and the base be lower than 4°C and displaced into blow mould cavity. Then, preheated and pre-extrude blank is expanded by the rod at the rated exceeding 1 m/s at the pressure lower than 10 bar on increasing the pressure therein to make blank wall expand to required shape and sizes.
EFFECT: accelerated process, higher quality of products.
