FIELD: transportation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a multilayer container for transporting hazardous substances. The container contains: the first layer, which is an inner layer made of high density polyethylene (HDPE); barrier layer, which is an intermediate layer located between the first layer and the second layer, made of a mixture of polymers, containing from 78 to 92 wt.% ethylene homopolymer, which is high density polyethylene, 3 to 10 wt% polyamide homopolymer, 5 to 10 wt% maleic anhydride grafted polyethylene (MAgPE) and 0 to 2 wt% de-static compound, based on the total weight of the polymer blend optionally in combination with suitable additives; and the second layer, which is the outer layer containing HDPE.
EFFECT: obtaining a multilayer container with high resistance to shock load and having improved barrier properties.
