FIELD: transport.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to dumping equipment, particularly to gons. Car tipper 1 comprises turn box 2 to turn about horizontal axis X-X, rotary means 20, means 11 to secure gon body 22 in turn box and top frame 3 with side posts 5 coupled with beam 4. Turn box 2 is composed by lateral and two front frames 8 and coupled with top frame 3 to turn about side posts 5. Top frame 3 is equipped with means 21 to be hinged to lifting crane. Proposed method comprises placing the car tipper secured at cargo crane above gon body, downing the tipper onto the body, securing the body in said box and detaching the body from gon bogies. Car tipper is displaced by said crane to dumping place to turn the box so that cargo is dumped from said gon.

EFFECT: fast dumping without cargo transfer.
