FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of dinas refractory articles for lining thermal generating units. The dinas refractory is made from a mass which contains a silica aggregate, portland cement and a sealer. The silica aggregate contains quartz glass with particle size of 5-0 mm, demagnetised quartzite with particle size smaller than 0.09 mm and quartz sand, and as a sealer - aqueous solution of sodium polymethylene naphthalene sulphonate, with the following ratio of components, wt %: portland cement - 3-6; said sealer (over 100%) - 7.5-8.5; demagnetised quartzite with particle size smaller than 0.09 mm - 20-40; quartz sand - 0.5-3.0; quartz sand with particle size of 5-0 mm - the balance.
EFFECT: high strength, low porosity and content of residual quartz.
