FIELD: instrument engineering.

SUBSTANCE: method of calibration of electromagnetic flowmeters includes the voltage supply to the input of the measuring device which is a part of the flowmeter, released on the resistance switched on in series with the energising coils of the primary flow transducer and formed by the symmetrical resistor voltage divider. At that, the resistor divider is connected to the energising coils and the electrodes of primary flow transducer contacting with the fluid. It is fed from the flowmeter measuring device. The reference signals are generated with the resistor divider and are set via the electrodes in contact with the operating fluid to the input of the measuring device, amplified, digitised and induced on the indicator of the measuring device. The value of the control fluid volume over the certain time is read from the indicator, and the data obtained are compared with the value of the passport data of the control volume of the primary calibration during release in manufacture. At that, in case of nonconformance the readjustment with the trimming resistor is carried out.

EFFECT: possibility of calibration of the flowmeter in operation without dismantling it from the pipeline.
