SUBSTANCE: in accordance with one of examples of this invention realisation a portable data storage device includes an identification indication of a device, unique for this portable data storage device, an object of right containing information that indicates the right of access and the reference identification indication, a storage device for storage of the identification device indication and the reference identification indication, a controller's logic. The storage device is broken into multiple memory areas, including the first area - the area of protection for storage of the command code, the second area - the area of the table of sections for storage of the table of sections, and the third area - the file area for storage of data files. In response to a request from a client, which is external in respect to a portable data storage device, the controller's logic compares the reference identification indication with the identification indication of the device, in order to permit access to data files to the client, if the reference identification indication corresponds to the identification indication of the device.
