FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: method for equal-contrast colour discrimination of two or more objects consists in that, by switching from traditional ICI colour spaces to a new colour space, in which the colour discrimination threshold is represented by a sphere (ball), the diameter of which is equal to that threshold, conversion of the old colour space is carried out using an altered Einstein equation, describing curved space-time. In the new colour space, coordinates of the metric tensor are defined by a colour tensor, the cosmological constant and the energy momentum tensor are equal to zero, and indices of the metric tensor range over values 1, 2 and 3.
EFFECT: broader functionalities by taking into account stimulus brightness.
