FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to powder metallurgy, particularly, to extrusion of shaped articles, primarily, trolleybus contact strips from carbon materials. Before simultaneous extrusion of chute-shape central part and shaped end parts, semis are extruded and cured at pressure. Final extrusion of all strip elements is carried out at specific pressure of 45-55 MPa and extrusion rate of 35-40 mm/s.
EFFECT: higher density and compression strength.
