FLASK WITH TAMPER-EVIDENT CAP Russian patent published in 2013 - IPC B65D55/02

Abstract RU 2494941 C2

FIELD: packaging industry.

SUBSTANCE: tamper-evident cap retained on the flask, which after removal is no longer able to be retained on the flask, has an outlet, at that the flask has a neck attached to the cap. The retaining protrusion is located adjacent to the end of the neck and facing away from its open end. The cap additionally comprises an outer annular wall, consisting of a pair retaining elements and a pair of support elements which extend directly upwards from the lower wall of the cap. The support elements have an inclined surface, and the retaining elements have an inclined upper surface and a retaining protrusion, at that the retaining elements are attached to the support elements by the safety element. The flask neck additionally has an inclined outer surface which complements the inclined surfaces of the annular cap wall, at that behind the said inclined outer surface of the flask neck the above mentioned protrusion is provided which is placed only near the retaining elements of the cap and which is absent near the support elements. When entering of the neck to the cap the interaction of inclined surfaces will cause an inclination of the retaining element radially outwards until the protrusion on the flask neck is located behind the retaining element and rests against the retaining element. Pulling out of the cap from the flask will cause resting of the protrusion on the flask against the protrusion on the retaining element and will deform or destroy the safety element thus moving the retaining element to a position which prevents the retention of the cap on the flask in the future.

EFFECT: invention is directed to creation of a tamper-evident cap for retaining the flask, which in the case of removal of the empty flask can not subsequently be re-used.
