FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the industry of processing flammable carbon- and hydrocarbon-containing products. The method of processing flammable carbon- and hydrocarbon-containing products is implemented in reactors fitted with temperature sensors (18, 20). A mixture is heated (13), subjected to pyrolysis and coking (12) and combustion (11) to form a solid residue (4). Dust-like particles and condensed droplets of liquids from the combustion zone (11) are sorbed by liquid hydrocarbon products by sprinkling the top part of the mixture through a distribution device or adding to the mixture solid hydrocarbon-containing products with softening point higher than 60°C and boiling point higher than 300°C. The apparatus includes a reactor for processing carbon- and hydrocarbon-containing products, a unit for purification from solid and liquid hydrocarbon-containing particles of a cyclone type (29) for primary purification, a unit for condensation of liquid products (30), collectors/separating flasks for condensates (31) and a collector for liquid hydrocarbon-containing wastes (32). Between the unit for purification from solid and liquid hydrocarbon-containing particles of a cyclone type (29) and the unit for condensation of liquid products (30), there is an additional unit for purifying the vapour-gas mixture (33), which consists of a centrifugal separator for fine purification (34) and one selective-type (35) cyclone. The collector for liquid hydrocarbon-containing wastes (32) includes a device for feeding (36) said wastes into the distribution device (22) of the top cover of the reactor (3).

EFFECT: invention increases quality of purifying the vapour-gas mixture from solid and liquid droplet impurities to 95%, increases efficiency of the process and simplifies implementation.
