FIELD: textiles, paper.
SUBSTANCE: carpet cleaning equipment (M) comprises mounted on a common frame (10) conveyor (3) for transporting a carpet (M) with the same speed between the washing and drying units (4, 2), the control unit (5), at least one washing unit (4) and one drying unit (2) and means for supplying power to the equipment and media used. The washing unit (4) comprises a node of wet and dry cleaning, provided with at least one brush and means for moving the carpet (M), and each drying unit (2) comprises a blower device (20) blowing the carpet with compressed air supplied by pressure of 200-1500 kPa on the front side of the carpet (M). The equipment is made mobile and is provided with a device for receiving water from an external source and the machine module (100) comprising means for receiving a power supply for the vehicle and means for converting of the received energy supply to the pressure and volume flow (200) of the equipment, required for equipment, to the heat energy (400) of water used in the equipment and to the electric energy (300) consumed by the equipment components. The method of cleaning carpet is based on operation of the said equipment.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of carpet cleaning.
