FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: sound absorber comprises a stiff perforated frame, inside of which there is a sound-absorbing material. The lower part of the frame is made of conical shape with a cover. The upper part of the frame is made as cylindrical and is fixed to the cover of the lower part of the frame by means of a vibration damping gasket, making it possible to damp high-frequency oscillations. An element is fixed hingedly to the upper part of the frame, with the help of which the frame is fixed to the ceiling of the industrial room. Cavities of lower and upper parts of the frame are filled with sound absorbing materials of different density. Around the upper part of the frame there is one helical sound absorbing element made in the form of a cylindrical helical spring from dense non-combustible sound absorbing material.

EFFECT: increased efficiency of noise suppression at low and medium frequencies.
