FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: framework of spherical acoustic absorber is made of two parts. Bottom reactive part is made in form of spherical structure with internal congruent spherical resonant cavity. The top active part is made in form of rigid perforated cylindrical shell with perforated cover and solid base. Around the perforated cylindrical shell there is at least one screw acoustic absorber in form of the cylindrical coil spring enclosing the shell.
EFFECT: improved efficiency of noise suppression at high frequencies.
