FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: chevron gear wheel with equally spaced rims includes a pair of cylindrical helical wheels (1, 2) installed on common shaft (3). Helical wheels consist of hubs (4, 5) and gear rims (6, 7) with teeth. End faces of gear rims of each helical wheel are equipped with concentric rings (8, 9, 10) with diameters equal to diameter of circle of teeth cavities. Rings located on internal end faces of rims of both helical wheels are connected to each other, thus forming one common ring (10).
