FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: gear wheel consists of a body in the form of a disk with a hub and of a gear rim in the form of a rim wheel with teeth. The outer disk diameter is equal to the diameter of the gear rim addendum circle, the gear rim is fixed at the disk end face. It is fixed by the end face of the rim wheel and end faces of all teeth conjugated with the disk.
EFFECT: optimised design of a gear wheel, lower costs of its manufacturing.
