FIELD: weapons and ammunition.
SUBSTANCE: automatic firearm rest comprises a rest base (1), where a rotary swivel is hingedly installed, which serves for side rotation of the firearm and fixation of a cradle (3). The cradle (3) is hingedly installed on the transverse axis of the rotary swivel (2) and is designed for fixation of the firearm in it and its vertical homing. Rotation of the cradle is provided by homing mechanisms (4). In the base of the rest (1) there are the following components hingedly installed: a front leg (5) and rear legs (6) with ploughshares (7). Fixation of the legs in the rest base during firing is realised by fixators (8). In the lower part of the front leg there is an axis (9), on which there is a sliding stem (10) is hingedly installed, in the front and rear parts of which there are ploughshares (11) hingedly installed, having stops for the lower working position. In the rear part of the sliding stem (10) there is a platform (12) fixed, which serves for location of a rifleman for firing when squatting and kneeling.
EFFECT: reduced tilt and movement of a machine in case of gun recoil and improved accuracy of firing.
