FIELD: information technology.
SUBSTANCE: present ACARS message communication system comprises at least one onboard apparatus hosting an application adapted for transmitting and/or receiving ACARS messages, a router adapted for routing, via a plurality of sub-networks (HF/VHF/SATCOM), ACARS messages originating from or destined for said application. Said apparatus and said router are linked to an AFDX network and said application is adapted so as to be registered dynamically in the router, via said network, the router routing said messages only if said application is actually registered therein.
EFFECT: enabling installation of new applications in an ACARS message communication system without the need to provide a special interface for each new application.
