FIELD: process engineering.

SUBSTANCE: this invention relates to boiling bed reactor. Boiling bed reactor 10 comprises bottom part 12, top part 16 and lateral walls (30.1, 30,2, 30.3, 30.4) extending vertically between bottom and top parts that make boiling bed reactor reaction chamber 20. Note here that, at least, one lateral wall 30.2 of reaction chamber forms at least one vertical recess 34 in said chamber. Note here that said recess forms the space outside of reactor sidewall. Said recess is composed of the part of sidewall 30.2 extending from sidewall plane 32 to reaction chamber. Said part of sidewall comprises at least two vertical recessed wall parts deflecting from the plane thereof nearby vertical lines at, at least, 1 m one from another. Note also that sidewalls and at least one recess are composed of water tube walls whereto heat from reaction chamber is transferred.

EFFECT: higher power of boiling bed reactor.
