FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: proposed engine comprises working cylinders with pistons, crankshaft of working cylinder pistons, timing pistons with intake and discharge openings and crankshafts of timing cylinder pistons. Every working cylinder 14 has at least four timing cylinders 7-10 wherein two cylinders 8, 10 have discharge openings and two cylinders 7, 9 have intake openings. Discharge (intake) openings of said cylinders 7-10 open one after another in crankshaft rotational direction. Pistons of timing cylinders 7-10 have offset crank gears. Discharge openings of the first timing cylinder 8 are opened the first by piston at discharge start at back stroke of said offset crank gear. Discharge openings of second timing cylinder 10 are opened by piston at open discharge openings of said timing cylinder 8 at forward stroke of offset crank gear. Intake openings of the third timing cylinder 7 are opened the first by piston at discharge start at back stroke of said offset crank gear. Intake openings of fourth timing cylinder 9 are opened by piston at open discharge openings of said third timing cylinder 7 at forward stroke of offset crank gear.
EFFECT: improved gas exchange.
