FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: in two-stroke engine, every two cylinders have a common combustion chamber. The engine is valveless, with uniflow scavenging, refilling the cylinders with air (mixture) of the pressure above the athmospheric. In the cylinders with a crankshaft or two crankshafts and a common combustion chamber, pistons move synchronously and syncphase, the intake and exhaust openings are on the same level. The intake and exhaust valves, respectively, are installed in the intake and exhaust channels after the openings, the managing of which provides control of uniflow scavenging and refilling. The valves are not subjected to pressure during the working stroke in the cylinders of the motor claimed. The cylinders with a common combustion chamber can work independently, as well as be united in an in-line engine, V-type, W-shaped, and other classic engine layouts.
EFFECT: increasing the engine power per unit weight.
