SUBSTANCE: method of streaming interactive video with short waiting time involves twitching games or applications on servers in a hosting service centre, reproduced or used by one or more users remotely from said hosting service centre, through compressed streaming interactive video transmitted over the Internet. The compressed streaming interactive video has to and from transmission waiting time of 90 ms in the worst case. The transmission waiting time is counted from the input of a user control signal to the display of the response to the input of the user control signal on a client device of the user over a transmission distance shorter than or equal to 1500 miles. The method also involves continuously recording in memory the game or application state for game or application twitching, when game or application twitching is reproduced or used.
