FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to snap-action devices, in which energy is accumulated upon compression of spiral spring, one end of which is rigidly attached to fixed part of circuit breaker and the other end interacts with moving rigid element by means of lantern wheel mechanism, and it may be used in independent drives of circuit breakers with translational displacement of moving contacts. Independent drive of circuit breaker containing lever installed with possibility of rotation relative to fixed axis, handle fixed with possibility of turning on one axis with lever, spring which one end is pivotally connected to lever, and the other - to fixed part of circuit breaker, lantern wheel mechanism for translational displacement of circuit breaker slider including a slot and a pin in it. According to the invention the pin is fixed on slider and the slot is made in lever.
EFFECT: increasing length of slider travel and reducing losses for friction under other stable parameters of drive.
