FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to veterinary science, and is applicable for the purpose of prevention of ketosis in high-production dairy cows. That is ensured by feeding the high-production cows with organic biologically active additives in the diet: choline chloride - 50 g/cow/day, dihydroquercetin - 200 mg/cow/day, and a food supplement containing 18% of L-carnitine 15 g/cow/day. Thus specified additives are added to the diet according to the following scheme. Within a two-week precalving period and within the first month of lactation, the mixed fodder is added with choline chloride, dihydroquercetin and the food supplement containing 18% of L-carnitine. Within the second month of lactation - choline chloride and the food supplement containing 18% of L-carnitine. Within the third and fourth month of lactation, the mixed fodder is added with the food supplement containing 18% of L-carnitine.
EFFECT: presented scheme of introduction of the supplements ensures preventing ketosis in high-production dairy cows, enables metabolic corrections during a dry cow and days-in-milk period, and also provides higher lactation performance.
