SUBSTANCE: method involves weighing animals and determining changing of live weight during dry period after complete interruption of milk secretion; feeding animals on 11-14 day of dry pregnancy period additionally to ration for 40 days with protein-saturated combined feed at the rate of 125-130 g per feed unit in an amount of 11-13% of total energy nutritive capacity of ration.
