FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medicine, namely to dentistry, and is intended for determining strength of adhesion of dental materials to solid tooth tissues. Preparation of tooth sample is performed by drilling hollow hole in tooth root, through which orthodontic wire is pulled. It is used to fix tooth in mould for tooth mounting, made in form of small conic dental cuvette. Self-hardening plastic is introduced into mould. Fixed tooth is prepared in accordance with requirements of orthopedic dentistry. All-metal crown with fixation ring in the centre of occlusal surface is made. Tested dental material is introduced into crown and fixed on prepared tooth. After keeping sample in water at temperature 37+1°C for 24 hours, sample with crown, fixed in mould for tooth mounting, is fixed in test machine Instron, and uniaxial tensile is applied to ring. Adhesion strength of dental material to tooth dentin is measured. After that, tooth is cleaned from particles of destructed tested material, tested proofing material is applied on cleaned surface, crown is re-fixed with fixation ring in the centre of occlusal surface, and procedure of measurement of adhesion strength is repeated with application of uniaxial tensile. Obtained data are compared to determine impact of proofing materials on adhesion strength.
EFFECT: method makes it possible to determine impact of proofing materials on adhesion strength in connection of dental materials with tooth tissues due to realisation of procedures, corresponding to actual algorithm, realised in clinical dentistry.
