FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention concerns medicine, particularly orthopaedic dentistry. The method for crown repair involves application of an intrachannel nail with a stump crown and crown modelled thereon. The intrachannel nail with the stump crown is made of titanium nickelide TN-10. The internal surface of the crown is recessed within its lateral faces. The stump nail is sawed up in two and heated. The halves are moved apart with following the algorithm No.1 or algorithm No.2. The algorithm No.1 consists as follows: the nail is fixed in a tooth channel so that the separated halves of the stump are in a mediodistal plane. The stump is cooled with a coolant. Its halves are joined, and the crown is cemented on the stump. The algorithm No.2 consists as follows: the stump is cooled with the coolant; the halves are joined; the nail is fixed in the tooth channel of the patient so that the stump halves are in a mediodistal plane; the crown is cemented on the stump.

EFFECT: higher reliability of fixation of artificial dental crowns and reduced number of complications, eg crack, fracture of root of tooth.
