FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: claimed invention relates to medicine, namely to dental science of materials, and describes method of determining strength of connection of dental restoration material with solid tissue of tooth, which includes thermocycling of solid tissue of tooth with applied on its surface dental restoration material in water medium and application of mechanical tension for separattion of restoration material from solid tooth tissue, where thermocycling is realised by continuous immersion of solid tooth tissue with applied on its surface dental restoration material in water medium and cyclical measurement of water medium temperature; application of mechanical tension is carried out simultaneously with thermocycling, and mechanical tension is created by application of force F of constant value to restoration material, and determination of strength of connection of restoration material with solid tooth tissue is realised by quantity of thermocycles, which restoration material endures before its complete separation from solid tooth tissue under action of force F. Also described is device for method realisation.
EFFECT: invention ensures increased efficiency of filling caries cavities, preservation of tooth integrity and prevention of development of caries complications.
