FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to railway transport, particularly, to vehicle buffer part. Head part 1 arranged at vehicle buffer side comprises bearing structure 2 with connectors 11 for mechanical connection thereto and at least one power absorbing element 16 to reduce kinetic energy in collision continuously at progressive deformation. Part of said power absorbing element 16 is composed of ram bar 12, 14 of bearing structure 2 extending in crosswise direction at bearing structure side opposite the aforesaid connectors 11. Said power absorbing element 16 comprises crosswise bar 15 hardly deformable compared with ram bar 12, 14 shifted from the latter in direction of connectors 11. Material to be deformed in collision is arranged between ram bar 12, 14 and crosswise bar 15.
EFFECT: higher safety.
