FIELD: packaging industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a lid (1) for a container, in particular a container for drinks such as a paper cup. The lid comprises a lower part (3) having an inner outlet (22) and the mounting shelf (4) formed circumferentially for removable installation on the edge of the container opening, and an upper part (2) having an outer outlet (38) and the mounting shelf (4) formed along the circumference a mounting rack (25) to be superimposed on the mounting shelf (4) of the lower part (3) of the lid. The outlets (22, 38) are located on the projections (15, 32), respectively, of parts projecting with respect to other of the respective lid parts and interacting with each other in the assembled position of the lid parts. Each of the projections (15, 32) has a cross-sectional circular arc shape, and the projection (32) of the upper part (2) of the lid is longer along the circumference of the projection (15) in its lower part (3). In the assembled position, the upper part (2) is rotatably mounted relative to the lower part (3), between at least two positions, at that in one position the outlets (22, 38) coincide with each other, but in another position superimposition is absent.
EFFECT: according to the invention the lid is simple, inexpensive to manufacture and remains firmly attached to the container, even under adverse conditions.
