FIELD: weapons and ammunition.
SUBSTANCE: optical range finder comprises electronic unit and transceiving channels. channels include optical radiation source and photo receiver with their optical axes directed at ≤90° to round lengthwise axis. Said axes are shifted relative to each other, preferably, in parallel, or in fact in parallel. Light beams of radiators do not intersect and spacing between beams of adjacent radiating channels equals or approximates to minimum size of slot. Optical radiator and photo receiver are connected with electronic unit to perform time-pulse analysis of range to target.
EFFECT: higher probability of target detection and guidance, better protection against optical and small size interferences, decreased weight and overall dimensions.
