FIELD: process engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to modification of shear strip of thickness Href and total quantity Nref of reinforcement layers. Proposed method comprises steps of determination of vertical stiffness and (Geff*A)REF using Href and Nref and selecting target magnitude HTAKGET. Then, follows the step of calculation of (Geff*A)CALC using shear strip thickness HTARGET and the step of increasing by 1 the total quantity of reinforcement layers in shear strip. Then calculated (Geff*A)CALC with compared with (Geff*A)REF and in case (Geff*A)CALC is smaller than (Geff*A)REF said step of increasing and said step of calculation are repeated unless ((Geff*A)CALC is not larger and approximately equal to (Geff*A)REF, total quantity of reinforcing layer becoming equal to NTotal. Then follows calculation of vertical stiffness using shear strip thickness HTARGET said quantity Ntotal reinforcing layers obtained at comparison step, analysis of said vertical stiffness as-computed and that resulted from said determination. In case said vertical stiffness calculated at appropriate step exceeds that determined at appropriate step then proposed method includes the steps of displacement of at least one reinforcing layer between outer reinforcing layer and inner reinforcing layer to a new position in shear strip, closer to either outer or inner reinforcing layer. Said calculation and analysis steps are repeated unless vertical stiffness exceeds that obtained at said determination step or approximates thereto. Besides, this invention relates to shear strip.
