FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ship building, particularly, to ship survivorship means. Proposed device comprises elastic tanks connected with compressed air source. Recesses with elastic tanks are arranged along ship hull boards above rubbing bands, one end of said tanks is secured to ship hull. Covers of said recesses are equipped with air cylinders. Compressed air is fed into air cylinders and elastic tanks is fed at a time in response to operation of automatic valve triggered by emergency situation signal.
EFFECT: additional buoyancy and floodability.
