FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to compositions of fireproof compositions and coatings for protection of components of foundry equipment made from cast iron, against impact of liquid aluminium. Composition for obtaining coating contains the following components, wt %: beta-sialon - 10.00-35.00; corundum - 15.00-20.00; organic-silicon binding - 30.00-40.00 and frit - 20.00-30.00 of composition wt %: CaO - 40.00-60.00; SiO2 - 22.00-35.00; B2O - 18.00-25.00. Covering contains following components, wt %: beta-sialon - 14.71-46.05; aluminium oxide - 13.88-22.87; glass-like binding agent - 40.07-62.43 of the following composition wt %: CaO - 35.52-55.71; Al2O3 - 1.86-4.44; SiO2 - 25.72-37.83; B2O3 - 16.71-22.20.
EFFECT: obtaining reusable coating with increased fire resistance, temperature resistance, thermal resistance, adhesion and absence of coating moistening by aluminium liquid.
