FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: fireproof structural ceramic material, including silicon carbide and sialon-based binding phase, contains silicon carbide, sialon, silicon nitride, silicon oxynitride, silicon oxide, corundum and other admixture phases with the following phase ratio, wt %: silicon carbide 60-95, sialon to 25, silicon nitride to 25, silicon oxynitride to 10, silicon oxide to 3, corundum to 5 and other admixture phases to 3 with their total content. Silicon carbide is represented by, at least, three fractions, with the coarsest fraction having grain size 2-3 mm.
EFFECT: increased corrosion resistance and resistance to abrasive and erosive wear.
